5.1.2. Reflection about alternative idea

The problem is always the same: Act I. I am not very convinced about the first part of the movie being just about two people talking, specially since there is no dialogue. I feel we haven't solved the reason for the fight. Yes, there are obvious reasons, like a partner cheating on you, and there are ways to tell this is in just a min (see below for how the cheating could happen) but isn't it too obvious? :

ACT I: We starts with a close up of a Whatsapp conversation on a phone, there’s a picture of a girl with a guy. They look happy and close, like a couple.

Pulling back, Rebant cries on a girl’s lap, she is the girl we saw in the whatsapp picture a minute ago. He, however, looks nothing like the guy on the phone. He begs and weeps. She looks sorry and tries to console him. She leaves. Rebant is left alone.

Cut to Pat walking towards Rebant’s place, he goes up the stairs and goes into the flat, he sees rebant looking down with his head in between his hands through the crack of the lounge’s door. Knocks softly, opens the door and stands, worried and hesitant but oblivious. He doesn’t know Rebant knows. He, Pat, is the guy on the WhatsApp image.

ACT II: Rebant pulls his head up, he goes from sadness to rage in the split of a second. Stands up, walks up to Pat, punches his face so hard Pat falls back.
